Ravensara is known to be one of the strongest anti-viral essential oils. Use for congestion in the chest, the sinuses and breathing passages, for muscular relaxing, and relieving menstrual discomfort and aches and pains. It has been shown to be effective in the treatment of cold sores, shingles and genital herpes.
Characteristics:
A clear thin oil with a tinge of yellow. A slightly medicinal scent: eucalyptus-like, with a fruity hint.

1,8-cineole, beta-pinene.
