Aromatherapy Applications: 
Use for respiratory allergies and to counter infections. Can also be directly applied to treat hemorrhoids, and has been shown to increase the levels of immune globulines. 

Characteristics:
A colorless, pale yellow or greenish liquid with a sweet, fresh, citrus-camphoraceous odor. 

Principal Constituents:
Nerolidol, terpineol, pinene, limonene, citrene, terebenthene, valeric ester, acetic ester, butyric ester. 

General Actions:
Analgesic, anthelmintic, anticatarrhal, antirheumatic, antiseptic, antispasmodic, bactericidal, balsamic, cicatrizant, diaphoretic, expectorant, regulator, stimulant, vermifuge. 

Safety:
Non-toxic, non-irritant, nonsensitizing. Often subject to adulteration. 

Primary Therapy Agent:
Whooping cough, colds/flu. 

Secondary Therapy Agent:
Acne, boils, abscesses, blisters, congested and dull skin, cuts/sores, greasy or oily skin/scalp, insect bites, spots, wounds, aches and pains, poor circulation, low blood pressure, rheumatism, asthma, bronchitis, catarrh, coughs, sinusitis, sore throat, throat infections, cystitis, fever.
