Aromatherapy Applications:
Use for inflammations of the skin and eczema, infected wounds, and liver regeneration. Cosmetically reduces under-eye puffiness when used with a carrier oil such as rose hip seed or evening primrose oil.
Characteristics:
An inky-blue viscous liquid with a strong, sweetish warm-herbaceous odor. It blends well with lavender, patchouli, rose, benzoin, neroli, bergamot, marjoram, lemon, ylang-ylang, jasmine, clary sage and labdanum.
Principal Constituents:
Chamazulene, farnesene, bisobolol oxide, enyndicycoether.
