Aromatherapy Applications:
A hair application with both fragrant and tonic virtues, useful for those who suffer from greasy hair and need a spirit-based, scalp-stimulating lotion to help them to control their locks. Helps promote hair growth, and brings back life to lifeless hair, improves dandruff problems and for the body helps with muscular and articular aches and pains.
Characteristics:
A dark yellow mobile liquid with a fresh-spicy top note and a sweet balsamic undertone. It blends well with lavender, rosemary, geranium, ylang-ylang, citrus and spice oils.
Principal Constituents:
Eugenol, myrcene, chavicol, methyl eugenol, linalol, limonene.
General Actions:
Analgesic, anticonvulsive, antineuralgic, expectorant, antirheumatic, antiseptic, astringent, stimulant, tonic for hair.
Safety:
Moderately toxic due to high eugenol content; a mucous membrane irritant, use in moderation. It does not appear to cause dermal irritation or sensitization.

Baldness and hair care, dandruff.
